Start with one story.
Writing a whole memoir is a lot to ask of someone. Telling one story is a more manageable place to start. Spomen asks follow-up questions to help with the details, and keeps the original recording alongside the transcript and edited story.
Someone else remembers it differently.
Family stories rarely belong to just one person. Other family members can add their side, and Spomen brings those perspectives together while keeping track of who said what.
Keep it outside the app, too.
The archive is private by default. You can export recordings, text and photographs, or bring the stories together as a memoir or a print-ready PDF book.
